Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Having a clear understanding of your research objective or goal is the first step in the process. We will consult with you to get a clear understanding of your business issue, what decisions need to be made, who will make them, when the decisions need to be made, audience/stakeholders, and planned implementation of insights. Based on this information, we will design a methodology and an approach that makes sense and is tailored to your specific needs, objectives, and budget.

What methodology should I use?

Determining an appropriate methodology is not only dependent on your specific business goals, but also on how you plan to use the research. We will recommend a methodology that is highly targeted and may include a combination of both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

What sample size do I need?

The ending sample size is primarily dependent on how you plan to segment your results. Would you like to segment the data by different subgroups demographically, geographically, or segment results within specific DMA’s? Having an understanding of these and other factors, as well as your overall budget, are necessary in order to recommend an appropriate ending sample size. 360 Research can access very difficult to reach and narrowly-defined sample targets domestically, as well as all over the world. Because of our fully-integrated system, we can launch your highly targeted study within the same day of project approval.

How do I define my sample target?

The sample definition is primarily dependent on how you currently define your target customer or audience. Are you seeking owners of a specific device, viewers of a specific network, or users of a specific product or product category? Do you plan to conduct research domestically or internationally? These and other factors will determine how your sample is defined.

How is the cost of the research project determined?

Project costs are dependent on the size and scope of your project, the sample size required, how narrowly defined your sample is, consultation level, and the type of reporting required to meet your objectives.

How will I benefit from the research?

At 360 Research, the level of research consultation is based strictly on your specific needs and budget and we’ll partner with you to provide a methodology and solution that is best suited and defined for your specific needs.
